He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Johnson and Buster Johnson; his wife Ann (Bug); and his grandson Ashton. He is survived by: his children, Lester Jr. (Yogi), Charles Earl (Bo Diddly), Leroy, Baldy (Sandra) and Gail (Papoose); his grandchildren, Shana (Eat'um Ups), Jamie (Chocolate), Victoria (Sowee), Raven (Jelly) and Leslie; his great grandchildren, Daniel (Swirley), Hunter (Pony Boy), Leah (Buckwheat), Loren (Bean), Lore (Dew Drop) and Brayden (Charlie Brown); his siblings, Delores (Muffin), Custalow (Bernard) and Philip Rollins "Foot" (Leslie); and his friends, Andrea Crump "Arnie", Tignor, Glenda (Buzzie), Francis, Cheryl (Booey), Pumpkin, Kevin McReynolds, Bill Dustin and Keith Fortune.
