We announce the death of Alan Anderson (Chantilly, Virginia), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 88. Alan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Anderson and Hilda Anderson of Canfield, Ohio; his son Robert "Bobby" Michael Anderson of Berlin Center, Ohio; and his sister Helen L. Joseph of Chesapeake, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Helen "Joan" Anderson; his son Edward Anderson (Ronda) of Martinsburg; his sister Gloria Gibbs of Youngstown, Ohio; his grandchildren, Amanda (Sean) of Penn Valley, Kyle (Lindsey) of Oak Creek and Ella Anderson of Columbus, Ohio; and his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Grove (Tonya) of Martinsburg and Becca Thomas of Martinsburg. He is also survived by six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
