She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Cantor and Bertha Cantor; her husband Loren Benson; and her children, Scott (Melissa), Glenn Benson (Lillian) and Donn Benson (Kathryn). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
