She is survived by: her children, Bruce McDonald of Chantilly, Virginia and Brian McDonald (Annie) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Jackson, Cassidy, Abigail, Maximus and Eleanor; and her siblings, Chris Butts, Brent Butts, Linda Butts, Julie Steitz and Marianne Baumchen.
