She was predeceased by: her father Eric Hirt; her mother-in-law Laura Cyphers Adamiak; her grandparents, Martha Robbins Swickard, Frank Hirt, D. Earl Robbins, Ralph Norman, Carolyn Adamiak and Stanley Adamiak; her cousin Troy Schlegel; and her uncle Dwight Crawford.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Adamiak; her mother Tamela Hirt; her siblings, Justin Hirt (Ashley) and Melinda Borrie (Matthew); her grandmother Katie Hirt Norman; her father-in-law David Adamiak (Stacey); her brother-in-law Matthew Adamiak (Madeline); her nieces and nephews, Fiona Hirt, Piper Hirt, Elsie Adamiak, Charlotte Borrie, Lincoln Hirt, Bennett Borrie and Benjamin Adamiak; and her pet Shelby. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hirt Scholarship Award through the Herndon High School Band which was established in memory of her father and now continued in hers.
