He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Rose Hampson; his children, Lisa Hampson Butler (Jeff) and John Avery Hampson; his grandchildren, Linley Frances Hampson, John Caden Hampson and Virginia; his siblings, Christiana, Beatrice, Marjorie, Joan, Eugene, Eugenie and Anthony; and his extended family Antigua.
