He is survived by: his wife Ester Baber Teal; his children, Paige Teal Adcock and Larry Wayne Teal, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Tracy Hunter Teal; his grandchildren, Ryan Hunter Teal, Sydney Ellen Adcock and Caitlyn Penny Teal; and his siblings, Patricia Adams, Charles Teal and Linda Teal.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
