With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Bethune Williams (Chantilly, Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Bethune and Gail Bethune; her siblings, Lucile Farmer and Charles (Jack Alfred Williams); and her daughters, Barbara Zimmerman and Tina Pemberton.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Stephen W. Pemberton; her grandchildren, Stephen Kyle Pemberton and Laura Brooke Hase (Scott); her great grandchild Reagan Marie Hase; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Carroll, Laura Johnson, Mary Townley, Richard Farmer and John Farmer.
A private family only service will be held soon, in lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite charity.
