It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maynard Pratt Valentine (Chantilly, Virginia), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maynard Pratt leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Pratt Boyd; his father-in-law Edwin; and his father Corbin Braxton Valentine, Jr. (Robin). He is survived by: his siblings, Corbin Braxton Valentine III (Anne), Elizabeth Valentine Patton (Jay) and Lindsay Valentine Chambliss (John); his half-sister Robin Valentine; and his stepsister Sarah Valentine. He is also survived by 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and 8 great nephews.
