He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Marva Lavinia Snead Simms (Jeff) and Charles Henry Snead (Merle); his grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Simms, Caleb Parker Simms, Christopher Snead and Melanie Snead; his sister Martha Anne Snead Murray (Charles); and his sister-in-law Janice Irby Snead. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
