He is survived by: his mother Esther Louise Thurneysen; his children, Zachary Thurneysen, Ellie Croghan (Zane) and Tristan Thurneysen; his wife Shirley Ann Merkel Thurneysen; his brother David Thurneysen; his siblings-in-law, Tina Thurneysen and Bill Yaun; and his sibling's children, Tricia, Evangeline Jenkins, Stephanie Thurneysen, Jeremy, Joel Alexander, Marah, Hannah and Leah Yaun.
