With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Thomas Gustin (Chantilly, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Russell Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Russell Thomas. Though Russell Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Margaret "Peggy" Gratz; and his children, Kevin, Meredith, Michael and Janet. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the St. Veronica Catholic Church (3460 Centreville Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Russell Gustin's memory to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
