He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nelson and Rita Nelson (Cleary); and his siblings, Anita Storie and Paul Nelson. He is survived by: his daughters, April Ross (Matthew) and Elena Ryan (James); his grandchildren, Lucinda Ross, Malcolm Ross, Connor Ryan and Emma Ryan; his former wives, Merna Thane Nelson and Vicky St. John; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Storie and Sue Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
