It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abe A Hildebrand Jr. (Charlottesville, Virginia), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe A. Hildebrand Sr. and Annie Allen; his wife Edna Newton Hildebrand; and his siblings, Lelia North, Doris Hall, Louis "Byrd" Hildebrand, Catherine "Kitty Ree" Hildebrand, Martha Weaver, Forrest Hildebrand and Infant Hildebrand. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home (201 1st St S, Charlottesville, VA 22902). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
