She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frederick Herring and Ellen Donald Herring; her sister Betty L. Oliphant; and her cousin Mary Catherine Wright. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph W. Wright III (Lisa) of Keswick, Virginia and Michael K. Wright (Laurie) of Keswick, Virginia; her grandchildren, Ian J. Wright and Brooke E. Scarsella; and her stepgrandchildren, Fulton A. Little, Nikki Johnson and Kori Wallace. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home (301 S Main St, Gordonsville, VA 22942).
