She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William H. Bashor and Dorothy Campbell Bashor; her husband Russell W. Brown; her daughter Judy; and her siblings, Barbara Friend, Thomas C. Bashor and William H. Bashor.
She is survived by: her children, Larry R. Brown of Thornton, CO, James S. Brown (Sheila) of Artesia, NM and Linda K. Barnes (Ken) of Barboursville, VA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church (3595 Grand Forks Blvd, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
