He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae and Thomas Chatman Johnson; and his brother Leroy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Pat Johnson; his son Steve Johnson (Pam) of Charlottesville; and his grandsons, Tyler Johnson (Bailey) of Palmyra and Hunter Johnson of Mt. Pleasant.
