She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson and Ada Jackson; and her stepmother Alberta Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Terrance Perry; her children, Amya and Alexis Perry; her siblings, Katrice Jackson (Christopher Witherspoon) of Birmingham and James Jackson of Anniston; her nephews, Jamal Jackson (Laniyha) of Birmingham, Jacquez Conley of Bessemer, Jacory of Anniston and Jacob Jackson of Anniston; her siblings-in-law, Nevalery Perry of Bessemer, Latrice Perry of Bessemer, Trina Perry of Bessemer, Derrick Perry of Bessemer and Borris Perry of Bessemer; her mother-in-law Dorothy Perry of Bessemer; and her aunts, Sadie Prince of Indiana, Joyce Besteder of Bessemer and Sandra Jones of Ohio. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel (108 6th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crystal Cathedral (16764 Oak St, Dillwyn, VA 23936). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
