It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dallas Ashley Allen (Charlottesville, Virginia), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry Ashley and Annie Giles Ashley; her husband Frank H. Allen; her brother Lunsford; her sister-in-law Nancy Ashley; her siblings, H. T. Ashley and Alice; and her brother-in-law Albert Burnette.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn A. Saunders (Tom) of Henrico, Catherine A. English of Lynchburg and Donna A. Burns (David) of Midlothian; her grandchildren, Melissa Patterson (Daniel), Ashley Saunders (Tom Dickinson), Ben Saunders (Sytira), Neal Burns (Iryna), Laura Burns and Emily McConnell (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Mason Patterson, Cora, Reid Dickinson, Kirby Saunders, Neal Burns, Elizabeth and Charlotte McConnell; her stepgreat-granddaughter Ivanna Butler; and her sister-in-law Gloria Ashley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Service (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
