He was predeceased by: his uncle Tom Griffin; and his brother-in-law George Kingston. He is survived by: his wife Kay Griffin; his grandchildren, Mick, Mia Martin of Carrollton, Cash and Ace Bone of Murrell's Inlet, S. C.; his sister Florence Griffin Kingston of Newport News, VA.; his niece Kasey Kingston (Jake); his great-nephew Eric Grever of Newport News, VA.; and his aunt Louise Griffin of Elizabeth City, NC..
