He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Trossi and Maria Orlandi Trossi. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Hertling Trossi; his children, Katherine Trossi Daiell (Jenna), David Andrew Trossi (Daihara Trossi-Gonzalez) and John William Trossi (Selene Milika); his granddaughters, Adriana Kinley Trossi-Gonzalez and Rowan Cora Daiell; and his sisters, Arlyn Castillo and Judy Mimms.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (5607 Gordonsville Rd, Keswick, VA 22947). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Hospice of the Piedmont, Alzheimer's Association, or the Grace Church Rector's Discretionary Fund.
