He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Wood, Sr. and Margaret Mansfield Johns of Warrenton, VA; and his son William Warner Wood. He is survived by: his wife Helen E. Wood (Mickie) of Berryville, VA; and his children, Beverley W. Hereford, David J. Wood III, Colston W. Hanshaw and Margaret M. McConnell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
