It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Devaughn Taylor of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Devaughn departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Devaughn. Though Devaughn may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Audrey Taylor and Alexander (Williams).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church - Charlottesville (1675 Avon Street Ext, Charlottesville, VA 22902). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Monticello Memory Gardens (670 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
