She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy W. Thorn, Sr. and Geneva Mae Foster Thorn; and her nephew Michael Thorn. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Baumgardner (Kimberly) of Fluvanna, VA, Samuel Baumgardner of Alexandria, VA and Joshua Baumgardner of Charlottesville, VA; her siblings, Megan Anaya, Troy W. Thorn, Jr. (Debbie) of Fayetteville, WV and Carl S. Thorn (Denise Bickley) of Statesville, NC; her grandchildren, Kierra Baumgardner, Austin Baumgardner, Logan Baumgardner and Kylee Baumgardner; her siblings' children, Jennifer Sneed (James) and Troy Thorn, III (Lisa Lambert); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Issaiah, Bethany, Geneva, Waylon Michael and Avah.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Church of God (1025 Rio Rd E, Charlottesville, VA 22901).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont - Hospice House, 501 Park Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
