She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Emory and Ella Florance Shifflett; her husband Lloyd Herring, Sr.; her children, Lloyd Herring Jr., Diana and Brenda Herring; her siblings, James, Cecil Shifflett, Helen Morris, Minnie Genty and Nellie Shifflett; and her children-in-law, Genie Herring and Roy Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Burton, Donnie Herring (Tara) and Ronnie Herring. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 8 great -great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
