She is survived by: her children, William Shirey, Jr. and Patricia O'Brien; her grandchildren, Amy Leigh Covert (Kevin Reichard), Ann O'Brien Singh (Gurpreet Singh), Charlie Shirey (Tabitha Shirey) and Walter Shirey (Christa Nevin); and her great grandchildren, Emily Elizabeth Covert, Fallon O'Brien Singh and Rafe Walia Singh.
