Dorothy Holsapple Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Holsapple of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herbert Shifflett and Hattie Mae Shifflett; her husband Eugene McCal Holsapple; and her siblings, Joan, Herbert, Roy and Dewey.
She is survived by: her sons, David Holsapple (Audrey) of Charlottesville and Greg Holsapple (Sherri Huff) of Citrus Springs, Florida.; her grandchildren, Darian (Cody), Adam (Christine), Lexy, Elleyna and Charles; her great grandchildren, Paul, Emmett and Vilulah; and her cousin Patsy Kelly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
