She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eldridge and Virginia Effie Roberts (Johnson); her husband Willard Coles Wood, Jr.; her son John R. Wood; and her brothers, Harry L. Roberts and Eldridge T. Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila McGuire (Lee) of Scottsville and Willard C. Wood, III; her sister Shirley Clark (John) of Charlottesville; her grandsons, Waylon Moon (Lori), Chuck Moon (Ann), Gregory Wood, Timothy Wood and Truman Wood; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Caitlyn, Ethan and Airel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
