He was predeceased by: his parents, William Aronhalt and Viola Aronhalt; his siblings, Bernard Aronhalt (Jean), Leroy Aronhalt (Mary) and Frances Marotte (Harry); and his daughter Sheri Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Lynne Aronhalt of Palmyra, Virginia; his grandson Zachary Robert Smith (Lakin) of Boydton, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Korra Smith.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Nicholas Lutheran Church, Huntingtown, MD.
