With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gail Babin of Charlottesville, Virginia, born in Houma, Louisiana, whose life came to an end on January 31, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Michael Babin; her daughter Kelli Babin; her parents, Alphonse Badeaux, (Al) and Irene Badeaux, Sr.; her stepbrother Gerald Engeron; and her son-in-law Timothy Lirette.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Babin Marcel (Jeremy Marcel) and Jill Babin Lirette; her brother Al Badeaux, Jr. (Jackie Badeaux); and her grandchildren, Lee Marcel, Ethan Marcel, Luke Bertrand and Ellie Lirette. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (409 Funderburk Ave, Houma, LA 70364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
