She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Sutton and Harry Sutton. She is survived by: her children, Laura Byrnes (Jay) of Charlottesville, Julie Savino (Ron) of Sterling, Rich Mozingo (Tracy) of Hixson and Tenn; her grandchildren, Collin, Sean, Jake Byrnes of Hayley, RJ, Nate Savino, Lucas and Alex Mozingo; and her sister Pattye Kennerly (Steve) of High Point, N. C..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Cape Carteret Presbyterian Church Preschool where she served as Director before moving to Charlottesville.
