Hunter Marshall Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 91, Hunter Marshall of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew and Dora Glenn Marshall; his son Hunter Ray; his siblings, William (Jack), Robert, Harry, George (Buddy), Ruth Anne Belew and Carolyn Faye McCauley; his granddaughter Jennifer Hollingsworth; and the mother of his children Shirley Batten.
He is survived by: his wife Leanna Marshall; his children, David (Gail), Glenda Marshall, Becky Sue Milburn (John), Darlene Cummings (Calvin), Tracey Marshall, Tammy Thompson, Teresa Knight (Aubrey), George Herring (Darlene) and Greg Herring (Liz); and his siblings, Richard Marshall (Chris) and Betty Harlowe. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
