He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Hicks and Phyllis Marsh Hicks Lewis; and his brother Dewey Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hicks; his daughters, Sharon Stafford (John), Donna Hicks and Brenda Hicks; and his sister Connie Glover of Landown, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
