She is survived by: her children, Melissa Bishop (Bruce), Amanda Bishop and Aaron Bishop; her grandchildren, John Jon, Ricky, Leah Bishop, Levi, Mandalyn Bishop, Mariah, TJ Brown and Kingston Bishop; and her siblings, Charles Edward "Butch" Gibson (Peggy), Cecil Allen Gibson (Denise), Norma Lee Houchens, Calvin Blaine Bishop (Rose Lea), Cathy Ann Bishop and Marian Fay Bishop. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Home (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Service Chapel (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
