She was predeceased by: her parents, Meta Hefner and Reichard Carlyle Atwood; her husband Calvin Arave; and her children, Rebecca Conger (Beckee), Andrew Arave (Joe) and Kevin Arave.
She is survived by: her daughters, Georganne Arave of Virginia and Jennifer Arave (Patrick) of Minnesota. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
