John Preston Pace Obituary
The passing of John Preston Pace in Charlottesville, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pace Sr. and Josephine Duniphant Pace; and his granddaughter Melissa Benson Morris. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pace; his children, Alan Pace (Renee) and Audrey Pace Sprouse (Charles); his granddaughter Kasie Pace; his siblings, William Joab "Billy" Pace II, Robert Pace, Gary Pace, Ricky Pace (Janet) and Brenda Pace; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Caleb Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as additional family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Home (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in John's name to the Greene County Animal Shelter, 37 Jeri Allen Way, Ruckersville, VA, 22968.
