He is survived by: his son Mark Buckner; his daughter-in-law Mary Theresa Buckner of Stanardsville, Virginia; his grandson Jon Powell Buckner of Stanardsville, Virginia; his sister Louise Jackson of Regina, Saskatchewan.; and his wife Ella.
