He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa LaVerne Randolph; and his son Joseph Augustes Turner III. He is survived by: his daughter Jewel Alexis Turner Walwyn (Kenric); his granddaughters, Addison and Laila; his siblings, Jonathan Turner, Gwendolyn Turner Parker (Roger), Corlis Anderson and Julia Andrews (Reggie); his nephews, Robert Johnson, Michael Anderson (Jen) and Stephen Johnson (Kyle); and his aunt Katherine Mae Barbour Whiting. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
