She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Shifflett. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Faulknier (John) and Linda Van Petten. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's honor to the Hospice of the Piedmont or The Parkinson's Foundation.
