With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Newton Sr. (Charlottesville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Newton and Mary Miles Bryant Lennon; and his aunts and uncles, Archie Bryant, John Newton, Sadie Godwin and Leola Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Arkward Newton; and his children, Larry Newton Jr., Carmen Hubbard (Brian) of Bowie, Chileta Perrow of Bowie and Rachel Newton of Scottsville, VA.
