It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Ann Makepeace of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Cleveland Shifflett; and her siblings, David Shifflett, Steve Shifflett, Eugene Shifflett, Eddie Cleveland Shifflett, Dennis James Shifflett and Sherry Lynn Shifflett.
She is survived by: her mother Rose "Peggy" Marie Shifflett; her son Robert "Make" Makepeace Jr. (Laura); her granddaughters, Chloe and McCoy Makepeace; her siblings, Rose "Rosebud" Haney, Keith Shifflett (Kay) and Jerry Shifflett; her sister-in-law Cathy Shifflett; and also, April Norford, Cathy Shifflett, Laura and Linda. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made in Linda's memory to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
