She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Alexander Rieser and Ruth Piper Rieser. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ted" Sohier Welch III; her sons, Ned Welch (Tiziana Casciaro) and David Welch (Katherine); her grandchildren, Sohier, Corbin, Livia, Harrison and Anderson; her brothers, Joseph Rieser (Sue Irving) and John Rieser (Karen Edwards); her nephews, Michael Rieser and Alex Rieser; and her niece Katie Rieser. She is also survived by her sons and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
