She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Gildea and Chloe M. Davis Gildea; and her siblings, Leonard, William, John, Francis, Robert, Joseph, James and Marie Yale.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Coursey of Berryville, Virginia; her daughter Cheryl Coursey (George Logan) of Charlottesville, Virginia; and her granddaughter Bailey Logan of Charlottesville, Virgina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home (201 1st St N, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911.
