“I met Owen in 2018. We came together through music. I Dj’d with the group he was a part of Charlottesville called Rhythm Fire Sessions. I didn’t just show up to the gig each night to start playing, I met up with him before, we talked, laughed, connected. I liked him right away. We stayed in touch. I invited him to wherever I had gigs. In 2021 he offered to help me move from my ex’s in C-ville, to which I accepted. He was a great guy. I last chatted w/ him in May/ June. I’ll miss him.”

“I only knew Owen for 9 months during an internship I had at UVA. We worked late night catering together. I had moved from Oregon and was away from all my family. Owen and I swapped music on Wednesday nights while we were waiting to make deliveries. He was a wonderful friend during that time. I even got to go to one of his outdoor gigs and will never forget how fun it was. He had music ever-flowing through him and found a way to promote peace even in chaos. He will be missed greatly.”
