He is survived by: his children, Ritchie and Anna Eppink; his former wife Leticia Ritchie Eppink; his sister-in-law Marge Eppink; and his sibling's children, Jim Eppink and Diane Quintero.
Donations may be made to two of the organizations to which he devoted much of his life: the Civil Engineering Fund at the University of Virginia and Partner for Mental Health, in Charlottesville.
