Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Mayr Funk; his children, Nancy Irish (John), Rick (Deb), Cathy Hudson (Rick), Susan Funk and Bonnie Funk (Darren Berline); his brother Virgil; and his uncle Dickie Joe. He was also cherished by his brother and sisters, nieces and nephews, children, and grandchildren.
