He was predeceased by : his wife Hilda Taylor Nelson; and his grandson John Mercer Jackson. He is survived by : his daughter Robyn Nelson; his son-in-law Brian Jackson; and his grandsons, Sabin Keen of Charlottesville, Edward Hugh of Charlottesville and Roland Taylor Hill Jackson of Charlottesville.
