It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan S. Brown in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Junior and Charlene Rebecca Walker Stuart; her granddaughter Kaswana LaShay Edmonds; and her siblings, Garry Eugene, Tyrone Lamont Stuart, Sr., Richard S. Stuart, Linda Diane Stuart Johnson and Judy Ann Stuart.
She is survived by: her husband Charles William Brown; her children, Charles Franklin Brown, Kimberly Diane Stuart and Charlene Renee Brown; and her siblings, Kim Theodore Stuart and Patricia Gail Stuart. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
