She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scott Boylan and Lois Carol; her husband Charles Edward Beard; her siblings, Wendy Malvin and Dr. Jon B. Lowe; and her son-in-law Joseph M. Hollowell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hollowell of Norfolk, VA, Lisa Hall Annapolis, MD (Jon), Charles Beard, Jr. (Donna), Scott Beard (Andrea), Jon Beard and Ponte; her grandchildren, Megan Skeens (Bobby), Bryan Davis (Stacie), Alison Todd (Andrew), Erica Snook (Mike), Caroline Beard, Nate Hall (Africa), Chase Beard (Katie), Madeline Dove, Hunter Beard, Olivia Edwards (Will), Hannah Hall (Franklin), Colin, Landon and Ella Beard; and her great grandchildren, Katharyn, Ainsley, Rebecca, Luca, Fiona, Nico, Maeve and Margot.
