He was predeceased by: his mother Carrie Fitzgerald Thompson; and his siblings, William Harrison "Bill" Smith, John Henry Smith, Carrie "Lou" Crickenberger and Mary Ella "Polly" Rentzel.
He is survived by: his father Will Thomas Thompson; his wife Joyce A. Thompson; his daughters, S. Denise Thompson and Shirley Wright (Mike); his grandchildren, Casey Taylor (Ashling) and Tiara Strait; and his uncle Pete (PawPaw). He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews.
